Accounting Technician

Does fully digital accounting speak to you?
Are you comfortable navigating daily between Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and tools such as Zoho and/or ADP?
Do you enjoy when everything is structured, streamlined, and accessible in just a few clicks?
Beyond the numbers, are you looking for a role that directly supports an organization making a real difference in the lives of military families?

If you answered yes to these questions, you might be exactly who we’re looking for!
Here, no paper, no filing cabinets… everything happens in the cloud. Every action is carried out through collaborative tools.

A day with us

8:25 AM — you arrive, grab your coffee/tea… and take the pulse of the finances.
A few emails to review, invoices to validate, approvals to confirm. You quickly bring order and start your day on solid ground.

9:30 AM — time for precision.
You move forward with accounts payable: data entry, coding, and payment preparation. You ensure every expense is accurate and properly documented. Nothing slips through the cracks.

11:00 AM — follow-ups and support.
You review accounts receivable, adjust files, and follow up when needed. You are the balance between accuracy and efficiency.

12:00 PM — lunch with the team.
A lively and cozy lunch, maybe even a puzzle (or not 😉), joining the walking club, or starting your own wellness initiative with your future colleagues.

1:00 PM — strategic focus.
Depending on the time of the month, you work on payroll or benefits: validating time banks, integrating data, planning rate changes, position updates or contract hour changes, producing reports, and processing group insurance and/or group RRSP.
You know that behind every number and every task, there’s a person — and that matters.

2:30 PM — big picture view.
You dive into reconciliations, analyze discrepancies, and contribute to month-end entries. You also support the production of reports that help managers make informed decisions.

4:30 PM — a sense of accomplishment.
Your files are up to date, your follow-ups are done, and you know your work directly supports the entire organization.
