PREVENTION AND COUNSELLING

At the VFC, we listen to your concerns! We provide prevention and counselling services to support and accompany you through different steps of your life.

At the VMFRC, we listen to your concerns! We provide prevention and helping relation services to support and accompany you through different steps of your life.

  • Behavioral difficulties with your primary school-aged children
  • Difficult parent-child relationships
  • Questions about your parenting skills
  • Adjustment difficulties
  • Stress and anxiety

  • Needs of a personal nature

Please come meet us to receive help! A mental health professional team will be able to guide you toward the most fitting resources for your situation.

  • he counsellor works on behalf of families with Valcartier’s Staff Support Integrated Center (ISSP) to offer services and support to grieving families as well as those coping with the disease or the injury of a military force member. The main services are:
    • Welcoming, listening to people and evaluating their needs.
    • Information and references to civilian or military support services available to families.
    • Point-to-point basis monitoring.
    • Union with workers involved when necessary.

Clientele

Anyone with a member of their family in the regular Force or in the B or C class Reserve can apply.
